Great Travel Companion

First used the Lite version on my iPhone 4S for a tour of Nice, France. It worked well while I kept my phone on airplane mode for the entire trip. I bought the regular version to add additional cities such as Montreal, Toronto, London UK, New York, Chicago, Shanghai, Beijing, Xian (unfortunately the map did not cover the terra cotta warriors site).
CityMaps2Go remains the only app I have ever paid for. I regularly recommend it to friends and acquaintances. I find it especially good on my iPhone mini. The pointer on the location marker is especially useful when one emerges from a subway and can quickly ascertain the direction to proceed.
